U.S. Congressman Mike McIntyre receives American Motorcyclist “Supporter” Award
Washington, D.C. – The American Motorcyclist Association, which is the premier advocate for motorcyclists' freedoms in the country, honored U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre for his support of motorcyclists during the just-completed 112th Congress.
Congressman McIntyre was singled out for the AMA Government Relations Department "Supporter" Award for his outstanding efforts to support motorcyclists and motorcycling. The Congressman was praised for the actions he took on a variety of issues ranging from responsible motorized recreation to the freedoms enjoyed by street riders.
"Thanks to the outstanding efforts of Rep. McIntyre during the 112th Congress, and the efforts of others, motorcyclists continue to enjoy a variety of freedoms related to their sport and pastime that were under attack," said Wayne Allard, AMA vice president for government relations and a former U.S. senator and U.S. representative from Colorado.
