McIntyre Announces Almost $75,000 For Sampson County Emergency Management

Washington, DC – U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre announced today that $74,382 in federal funds have been approved for Sampson County Emergency Management.  Funds will be used for arson investigation and regional training.

Congressman McIntyre stated, “Ensuring that our fire departments have the resources and tools they need to do their job is a priority for me, and I am pleased these funds are coming home to help Sampson County!   Congratulations to all the folks at Sampson Emergency Management and the departments they serve! ”

The United States Department of Homeland Security has awarded these congressionally appropriated funds through its firefighters assistance program.
