McIntyre Announces Chaz Whited of Wilmington as 7th District Congressional Arts Competition Winner

 

Washington, D.C.  – U.S. Congressman Mike McIntyre recently welcomed the 2013 7th District Congressional Arts Competition winner to Capitol Hill.  Chaz Whited attends Eugene Ashley High School in Wilmington, and came to Washington, D.C., to attend a reception in the U.S. Capitol for winners of the Congressional Art Competition. His artwork is entitled “Feelin’ Blue” and is a self-portrait in pencil.   He is a rising senior at Eugene Ashley High School in Wilmington. Parents name: Terri Whited and Nancy Davis. Grandparents name: Dr. Haywood Davis and Carolyn Davis. Art teacher: Angela Hewett.  Chaz’s self-portrait will hang in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
