McIntyre Announces $300,000 for Four County EMC to Create Four Jobs and Help Pender County Emergency Medical Service
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Mike McIntyre announced today that Four County EMC has received a $300,000 federal grant to create four jobs and assist the Pender County EMS.
Congressman McIntyre stated, “Creating jobs is vital, and helping our first responders is key to keeping citizens, businesses, and communities safe. This federal grant will help do that for Pender County citizens and EMS! Special thanks to Four County EMC for their commitment to economic development and serving rural communities. This is a good day for Pender County!”
USDA Rural Development has awarded the $300,000 grant to Four County EMC which they will use to capitalize their revolving loan fund. Pender Emergency Medical Services will be the beneficiary and will use the funds to purchase new vehicles and equipment.
Congressman McIntyre is a senior member of the House Agriculture Committee.
