McIntyre Announces $99,000 in Federal Fire Funds for Clinton Fire Department

Washington, DC – U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre announced today that the Clinton Fire Department has received $99,000 in federal funds for fire operations and safety.

Congressman McIntyre stated, “Ensuring that our fire departments have the resources and tools they need to do their job is a priority for me, and I am pleased these funds are coming home to help the Clinton Fire Department.  We must do all we can to protect our citizens and communities, and these federal resources will help do just that.  Congratulations to all who worked on this application!”

The United States Department of Homeland Security has awarded these congressionally appropriated funds through its firefighters assistance program.
