WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre announced today that the Warsaw Fire Department has received $1,300,000 in federal funds to build a new fire station.
Congressman McIntyre stated, “Helping our rural communities have the infrastructure they need to protect citizens and businesses is a top priority.  These federal funds will be a big boost to the Town of Warsaw and their fire department.  Congratulations to all who have worked to make this dream a reality!  These are your taxpaying dollars coming home to make a difference!”

The U.S. Congress has appropriated funds to the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development who has obligated the funds to the Warsaw Fire Department.  This low-interest loan of $1,250,000 and $50,000 grant will be used to construct a new fire station. The new 11,325 sq. ft. facility will provide 4 bays for emergency response equipment, offices, kitchen, and restrooms.
